Maceton observes annual outing to promote sustainability activities
Maceton Limited, a part of the Group of Karl Rieker GmbH & Co. KG, recently observed their three days long annual outing in Cox’s Bazar, with a focus on sustainability activities. Around 60 participants, key company leaders Michael Huck, Director, Riziq Basheer, COO, Kreuzer, CTO, Harry Siewert, Group Consultant, including staff, head office personnel from Germany, and others were present in the program.
The sustainability activities consisted of a beach clean-up and handing over garbage bins to the Cox’s Bazar Tourist Police Authority followed by cultural programs, raffle draws, recognition of hardworking and dedicated staff, and more.
During the beach clean-up, tourists in the area highly appreciated the program, while the Tourist Police Authority also commended the company for their efforts. As a traditional family business with decades of experience in the apparel industry, Maceton has established itself as a global company by adhering to traditional values and long-term strategies in Bangladesh. The company’s commitment to sustainability in its business operations and activities is a commitment to society.
The outing exemplifies their dedication to sustainable practices and initiatives that benefit the environment and local communities considering a better life for tomorrow.
